The best puzzle game since Tetris!
Lumines is a game that you can get addicted to very easily. You can pick it up one minute and the next thing you know over an hour has passed.
It's a very simple game, create 2x2 squares of the same color, but with the changing of skins and the different pacing of the timeline it can be quite a challenge to get to the higher levels. There is also a puzzle mode for you to play when you don't feel like taking on the challenge mode. In puzzle mode you have to build shapes (eg. a cross) using the coloured blocks.
Graphically the game is beautiful looking and runs extremely smooth even when changing between skins during gameplay.
Even if you are not a fan of dance music you will not be turned off by the tracks in this game.
The only negative thing about Lumines is the lack of online play, but personally I didn't really miss it much once I started playing.
