You may think that this game rocks or that it sucks but it all depends on your likes or dislikes.But its worth trying.
Personally I felt that this was a pretty good game.
First of the graphics, it's not exactly stunning like other RPGs like Rivera, but there are no complaints and it's OK for a Game Boy. Next comes the sound it's not all that bad but could have definately been better. Apart from the background music that are always there in RPGs( and no one acutually cares about), there are several other sounds. So again average sound system and no comments.
The story line is pretty good (though it's nothing to brag about). You start out as a boy whos doesn't have parents( now just how many times have heard that) and your first task is that of becoming an official hunter. Later on you turn into more of an adventurer as you seek out missions and some cool treasure.As always with such RPGs your party increases along the way as you gain more allies.
Gameplay is qiute normal. In the normal roaming mode you can see your enemies as little sprites. Every time you move, they move and advance towards you. When you meet each other a battle is initiated and it's the same old tried and trusted method of turn based battles with the fastest player attacking( defending or running away) first.
You have the opportunity to capture monsters and raise them as pets to fight alongside you. The game is based on a class based system and you learn various skills and techinques along the way. And every time you level up your stats are raised.
Overall like i said before you may think that this game completely rocks and worsip it like a god or think that it just sucks and stuff it down the toilet but it all depends on your likes (and/or dislikes).
But it is worth giving it a try.
