A nice idea, could-have-been-better execution.
The gameplay is good and so are the graphics, but the controls and performance were not well executed. The character runs slowly and his animation is a bit cheesy at times. Also, the game was a bit difficult at times. The controls were pretty difficult and took a while to get used to, though you can always change them in the options menu, but even then it is not easy.
The story is good and the soundtrack is nice. As you have read now, the game has a lot of good points. In fact, the cleverness of this game was so close to getting a 9 from me, but the poor execution changed all that. It is not a completely worthless game at all, though. It still might be worth buying, but it is probably better to wait for the sequel.
