The game regards itself as a third-person cover shooter. You are Jim Peyton and you have just arrived on a strange planet in order to find a workplace. You get hired to provide for your family, but after a while you realise things are not as they seem. Nevec company is the bad corporation which wants to dry the planet off thermal energy and you start a war to stop it. The story isn't much, but the gameplay is fun at times. You kill a lot of Akrid and lots of Nevec soldiers. You can buy new gear, you can upgrade your RIG or your weapons. You can do side missions. It is not an open-world game, there are some side missions, but these ones exist only to upgrade your RIG or gear. The game is not bad, yet it's not the greatest one you have ever played.
