LittleBigPlanet: GOTY is the same awesome game that came out a year ago, but with plenty of add-on's that keep it fresh

Before this game, I never played LittleBigPlanet, so I didn't know what to expect. I only played the demo, so I thought I might just buy it since it was pretty fun. But I got the GOTY Edition because it had add-on's and heard it was the same game as the original, but with add-on's. When I got it, I was amazed at how something as simple as this was such a fun game to play. The controls are easy and it is easy to be able to jump into the game without needing help. And the amount of things you can unlock in this game is overwhelming. In this game, you play as a Sackboy, which are little rag dolls that you use to explore LittleBigPlanet. You are able to customize the way your Sackboy looks like with clothes and accessories you get when you play through levels. There is also so much you can do in this game that will make you want to play this game a lot. You have the story, where you help creators of the LittleBigPlanet universe, bonus mini game that you acquire in the story mode, you can play online , play levels other people that play LittleBigPlanet created, and you can also create your own levels that you can share on the LittleBigPlanet Community.
The story mode is long and will also want to play someone else if you want to get all the unlockables. The mini games are fun and varied, and you'll want to play them back to get the high score on the leader boards. With the online, you can play with up to 4 players online and you'll be able to play the any level in the game with them so you can get items you missed in levels where you need multiple levels. It's also competitive to try getting the high score between you and the people you're playing with. You can also play other player's levels, which is as has the same gameplay mechanics as the offline game moods, and is equally as fun. You can also make your own levels, which may take more than 4 hours to create the level you want to play. To make your level, you have to use collectibles you get in the story mode to make your level what you want it to be. But this is just the original game.
The add-on's in this game are pretty impressive. It comes with the "Metal Gear Solid", "History","Animals" and "Monsters" level and costume packs. They aren't that long, but they come with a bunch off costumes and accessories, and each level comes with a boat load of collectibles you can use for your Sackboy and the level creator. The "Metal Gear Solid" has to do with Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of Patriots, and it's the only pack that has a plot and a multiple of levels. The other levels are mainly come with huge amounts of collectibles that have to do with that theme. Overall, the add -on's don't make the game better than the original or different, but just if you want original with a couple of extras. But they don't even make the game bad in any way, and are fun to play.
All in all, LittleBigPlanet: GOTY Edition is the same LittleBigPlanet experience you may have played before, just with new add-on's. If you haven't played LittleBigPlanet before and you want to get it, get the Game of the Year edition. If you have the original but you want add-on's, just buy them off of the PlayStation Store. Even though this game looks like a game for kids, it's for anybody and that wants to play a game that want to play something new or a game that doesn't involve bloody shooters or killing Greek Gods. Whoever you are, you'll enjoy it and you might be playing it for a while.
