Great for the kids! My 3, 5, & 7 year old all love this game, and I had fun playing it with them.

User Rating: 9 | Let's Ride! Dreamer PC
This game was fun for the family, but particulary the little ones. My 3 and 5 year old just enjoy riding the horse around the countryside in free mode. My 5 year old girl loves changing riding clothes, decorating the horses with ribbons, feeding, watering and brushing the horses, and selecting different saddles.

My 7 year old girl enjoys the dressage and jumping contests, but has found about half the jumping contests too difficult. She has actually enjoyed designing her own jump contests and dressage courses.

All three kids enjoyed selecting different horses. The leveling system which allows you to increase strength (better jumping ability), speed, and stamina adds to the replayability.

As a 40 year old dad, my rating for this game would be quite different for myself versus the kids; but I will say I did enjoy the jumping contests. They were challenging and some took several tries to beat.

Graphics are okay, particularly for this game. Sound is good. The game is good clean fun for all ages.

The only drawback I saw is the lack of an actual race mode. There is a timed race for jumping obstacles on countryside romps, but no actual racetrack pitting multiple horses in a standard stakes race. This seemed a dissappointment because the game is based on a movie about a race horse.

For kids, I would rate this game a 9.0. For older kids and up, the game is probably a 5.0 to 6.0.
