Spectacular! The game oozes style.
While I miss the MIDI compositions of the original, the new music fits the game's atmosphere pretty well.
Lefty's bar, the surrounding city, and places like the Convenience Store and Wedding Chapel are an expression of a distracted, pleasure-seeking money-centered lifestyle that is all too common in our society. Rather than condemning this lifestyle, Larry embraces it with an optimism we can all relate to.
The satire is just as relevant to city life now as it was back in the early 90's when the original was released.
More than a decade's technological renovation since the last time this game was remade in VGA has given it a refreshing facelift.
The game is sleazy and not afraid to offend. The extreme aspects to Larry's character give it that extra punch like in Ren n Stimpy and South Park, which is what makes the game so humorous. It leaves me wanting more!
Hope they remake the rest of the series, especially Leisure Suit Larry 3.
