Leisure Poo Larry: Box Vomit Bust
Story: You play as Larry, the cousin of Uncle Larry from the original PC games. I personally think a child could have come up with a more interesting story than this piece of garbage. Anyway you try to get into the movie making business by doing all kinds of lame and frustrating minigames. After a while you find out that someone is trying to destroy your uncle's career and you will have to find out who it is during your quest you'll feature in a couple of movie parodies where you will have to do even more crappy minigames.
Gameplay: Now this is where the game really stinks. The minigames(that's all the game is about) were driving me nuts. There are a lot of time based minigames where you have to get something from point A to B or you will have to go somewhere but can't find your way because the map didn't make any sense and the games are way to annoying and frustrating.
The controls and camera are also total garbage, Larry can jump, run and even drive vehicles, but most of the time you'll jump in the wrong direction because the camera is going exorcist style! The cars handle like your grandma's electric kart. It steers to sharp when you try going around a corner, I even had a couple of glitches where I couldn't exit the vehicle and had the restart the game.
Graphics: The graphics look absolutely awesome if this was on the Nintendo 64, but it's not. Actually there is nothing special about the graphics at all, even the girls which usually are the top of the cake in Larry games don't look that good. The city is divided into various districts which represent a movie, but still nothing special when it comes to graphical performance. The save system is also made by an idiot, sometimes it doesn't save your progress, it only saves your completed minigames and not Larry statues you've collected it only saves statues after it autosaves after a minigame.
Sound: The voice acting was pretty decent although most of the dialogue was horrible. There were some funny one liners, but most of what Larry and other characters say feels forced thus not really funny. Music is mostly some simple irritating tune, again nothing special.
Enjoyment: I think it's clear that I didn't enjoy this abomination. Way too many frustrating minigames. I normally like this type of humor but this was horrible. I also don't like the time gimmick in most of the minigames, like: look for 11 objects around this huge map in 6 minutes. The weirdest thing is that a Larry game was always about naked girls and getting them into bed, but even that is next to non existent in this load of puke.
Conclusion: Larry fans beware, this is not what you are looking for. It does NOT have nudity, it has HORRIBLE camera angles, HORRIBLE die/retry gameplay and UGLY graphics. It tries to be some sort of crappy platformer, mixed with GTA elements of driving cars and on rails shooter elements and a load of other frustrating minigames.
AVOID THIS GAME AT ALL COSTS!
