On the GBA, Lego Star Wars II is an enticing action adventure game with plenty of unlockables.

LEGO Star Wars II for the GBA is a fun action game for the now defunct handheld, and, amazingly, is of a better quality than it's DS counterpart.

Just like with the first LEGO Star Wars game, your goal is to play through a trilogy of movies completely in LEGO form. Sure, it may sound kiddie, but the game has a certain charm in using the LEGO-themed characters that few action games can match.

Everything you'd expect from a Star Wars game is here, the Force, lightsabers, troopers, Vader, the music, and blaster fire. Despite the hardware limitations, the story has it's funny moments and even the orchestral MIDI score sounds wonderful.

Gameplay wise, not much changed from the pervious game, Select changes your character, L builds or does force powers, A Jumps, and B Attacks and interacts.

As seems to be common with any LEGO game, there are plenty of unlockables to be found, in the form of characters, unlockable modes, and a final object you build by finding proper pieces in the levels.

Chances are, if you enjoyed LEGOs as a kid, or enjoy Star Wars, you'll enjoy the game, however, seeking out the home console editions (Gamecube, PS2, Xbox, or 360) may prove to provide more fun with co-op play.
