Most of the Lego games out there to date are set on major movies, with the exception of Batman which was just set on the characters themselves. Although many did not care for Batman that much, I also enjoyed that game. Pirates of the Caribbean is another classic lego style "Run around, hit things, collect the lego coins and find all the secrets". Many play these Lego games simply for the enjoyment of playing through them, but I play because of the challenge of finding everything and combining the new abilities of new characters. The Lego team has tried different ways of attaining new abilites in almost all the games, which I am happy about because it just makes all the 'Lego games' that much more colourful.
I enjoyed this game as well, although I have to say I did find it a bit tedious at times being not completely aware of all the abilities of all characters. To date I have almost 80 percent of the game and have yet to still find all combinations of abilities and secrets.
Being a fan of the Lego series, I rated this game quite highly. For me it isn't simply just another movie in Lego form, but truly something new and interesting. Looking forward to more games like this and hoping there will be more! :)
