You have NO SHOT of getting even close to the top unless you A. Pay a ton of money and get lucky B. Cheat the game (which Im sure people have figured out how) C. Have access to a ton of different Idevices to have a ton of different accountsD. Scam people.
Battles require little skill. The more powerful cards you have the better, simple as that. Of course you want more ATTK if attacking and more DEF is defending, but there is very little else. Cards do have skills but few of the Rare cards are that good, only ultra rare cards have skills worthwhile.
So the problem is that the people who are on top have all the top Ultra Rare Cards, and with each event they all get even better cards while the vast majority of people under them get jack. And since this is a game that is "pay2win", he who has the best cards wins every time.
It's even worse than Magic the Gathering! At least you might get lucky playing a more powerful opponent in MTG, not so with this game. You lose, that's it.
It has turned into an Idol Aristocracy, and with each event the gap widens. It took me a while to really figure this out. I had access to a few Idevices to set up multiple accounts, but I have no shot. There are stories of people dropping hundreds of dollars into this game and getting nothing worthwhile, luckily I was not suckered into spending money.
Do yourself a favor, don't bother. Its a virtual card game with no skill needed that new honest people won't have a chance in winning.
