User Rating: 9.5 | L.A. Noire PS3
L.A Noire is a great game. Because its stylish gameplay and, 40's scenery. The cases that you have to solve are even more intriguing. People seem to think that this game is made by Rockstar Games, while it is published by them it is not made by them. Team Bondi is who developed this game however it does borrow some elements from a Rockstar game. This game is technically in the same family as a sandbox free roam game; however it's not completely free roam. The reason behind this is because in games like GTA and SR you have a lot of side missions to do and you can also create havoc through the cities in which you play in. In this game you cannot wreak havoc, nor are there any side missions. It's something similar that I like to call side cases. When you are on the way to the cases dealing with the story you will occasionally get a police dispatch call to go check out a crime going on somewhere else within the city. It is completely optional for you to take the call. The reason you can't wreak havoc is because you are a police detective" not a crooked one". After being promoted through the game you will eventually get the ability to do city patrols to keep the city safe. The story to this game is as great as ever. You'll find yourself chasing criminals and shooting through the streets trying to apprehend the criminals that make this game what it is. The story has great plot twists and other things that give it a sense of excitement. The guns are great to shoot and it's a pretty good variety of guns in the game from that time era as well as vehicles. Which are easy and efficient to drive. The crime scenes are brutal and have a creepy and realistic feel to them. The voice acting is great and exactly how they should be. All in all great job Team Bondi and Rockstar.
