Kirby's Epic Yarn is a masterpiece. From its style right down to the gameplay, the game is just THAT good.

User Rating: 9 | Kirby's Epic Yarn WII
Kirby's first adventure on the Wii is also my new favorite game on the system. It pushes boundaries graphic-wise and has an excellent soundtrack. There is just so much to be said about the depth and care the team really put into this piece of work.

You can play up to two players throughout the adventure although I just played one player since I don't have a second Wii remote yet. The first player will always be Kirby and the second will be the blue newcomer, Prince Fluff.

In this game, I'm sorry to say that you don't suck enemies up to get their abilities. Since Kirby is now made up entirely of yarn because of a new nemesis, Yin-Yarn, the enemies would go right through him. Instead, he grabs them with a starred rope and turns them into yarn balls. Does it sound corny? Yes, it might but this is just the charm to this innovative title. You will get used to it.

There are 7 basic lands to go through such as Grass Land, Hot Land, Treat Land, Water Land, Snow Land and Space Land. After you beat them all, you unlock Dream Land which eventually you find out has also been taken over by Yin-Yarn. Make the final battle count!

The boss battles themselves range from very easy to medium difficulty. I found most of them rather on the cakewalk side, but bosses like Meta Knight were slightly trickier. Boy, does he have speed! The game itself overall, is almost medium difficulty and gets even harder if you find that you are a complete-ist, liking to collect every goodie in the game. I find that I am not, so more or less, I just wanted to beat the game. It will take you some time if you wanna do otherwise.

It took me about 20 hours to beat the main story, but I took many breaks from the game.
