From it's solid graphics to it's near-perfect gameplay, Kirby returns in one of the finest GBA platformers out there.

User Rating: 8.8 | Kirby & The Amazing Mirror GBA
I think any platforming fan can say that Kirby is on his own turf when it comes to the genre. No other gaming character can suck AND blow (man I love that about Kirby :P). But on a serious note, Kirby has had some very solid games in his past. Nightmare in Dreamland was one of them. It looked good, sounded good, and it played good. Two years after it's release, a "sequel" was released. This "sequel" was title Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. Amazing Mirror plays very similar to the other Kirby platformers, which is a very good thing. Probably the best part of the gameplay is the fact that you can eat your enemies and use their powers. Which leads to why I scored the gameplay a perfect ten. The different powers add so much variety to the game that it makes your head spin. Fighting enemies with a sword or fighting with your fists is more then enjoyable. There is also fire powers, ice powers, bomb powers, etc. The graphics are very good. One of the best looking 2D handheld games. The sound is decent. The main focus in the sound department is to make it sound like a SNES game, which it succeeds at. It definately sounds like a good old SNES game, but a full orchestated score would have been a little more appreciated.

This game will last you a good while. You can connect with up to three others and play through the game. There are also some fun mini games that can be played in single or multiplayer. You can collect various things in the game too. This is a great action-platformer that will both puzzle you and amaze you. I think it's a cool little game that's worth checking out.
