There are a couple positives, but only a couple.

Don't you love the little pink puff ball? I think that this is the type of game that doesn't have much of a chance in the 3-D world. The first couple games in the series were really good and the portable versions were nice, but the 3-D world takes away from the basic side-scrolling, morphing action that I grew up with.

The positives of this game are that the graphics are decent, the sound is . . . there, and the game still contains the morphing piece of the series. You get to go racing around on shooting stars and taking in various powers to either attack the other riders or take control of the race.

The game seems to be a little too simplistic. It also seems to have pretty poor control for a game that kids are going to be playing quite a bit. There is some potential there, but it almost would be better for Kirby to be added to the Mario Kart series and extend it from just Mario characters to Nintendo only characters, like SSBM.
