Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders isn't just a normal hack-and-slash game. You order your different troops to go to their positions, then you control the General and lead them into battle. It actually requires you to use strategy. There are special moves, which use SP (in a meter on the bottom of the screen) Some special moves are just attacks, but you can also call in your other generals to come help you. To defeat an enemy, just destroy all of their troops. Or, to save time and troops, you can just go to the enemy General and kill him/her, then you win. There are different types of troops: Cavalry, Infantry, Spearmen, and Archers. Spearmen can be used to attack the enemy's cavalry and protect your Infantry. All the others are self-explanatory. In between missions, you visit a nearby castle. You recieve your briefing for your next mission, buy Armor and Weapons, hire mercenaries, eavesdrop on your men, and go to training sessions. All in all, this is a great game.
