At first you would think that a first year psp game would be a total let down, but this goes in my top 3 of psp games
you play as shinbu, a former seiryu disciple
who comes back home to find his entire clan murdered by the central kirin
he than goes protect the 4 swords of the clan lords... AND THE STORY GOES ON AND ON
despite what the internet said about the story, I thougt it was pretty good, not FFVII good, but good.
It has some unexpected features in it and is a little bit classic, which I like in a game.
When it comes to gameplay, the game is pretty innovative.
You have these things called bugei scrolls, which need kenpu gained from enemies to complete.
You can even create your own bugei (freestyle scroll)
The fighting style is really addictive, however the chi arts make it a little bit easy sometimes. I love howevere how you can never really run out of chi, you can always power up on chi during or after the fight.
The bosses in the game might seem a little bit hard in the beginning, but with the right combo of attacks and chi arts, they all come down eventually.
Overall, this game is a bonus to every gamers collection!
