Good. But adds nothing over the previous games

User Rating: 7.5 | Killzone 3 PS3
Ok so I would like to start this by saying I am a huge fan of the Killzone games. Loved the first one on the PS2. It felt open enough to allow for different tactics. Having more that one character to choose from made it good for replay (I did stealth last time, lets go for brute force this time etc - If you dont know what I am talking about contact me)
Second game, loved the tighter controls and great story. Missed out on playing the different characters though.
PSP game was a hoot, something different but carried on the story well
Killzone 3 however is not quite what I expected. Sure its tighter than the previous games. And despite what some reviews say the story is clear, interesting and easy to follow (it helps if you go on the website and review the story timeline) But its nothing new, its more restricted than previous games, I miss the character selection even more. And the one thing that annoys me most of all has to be if you do get killed and your buddy tries to save you only to hear "I cant get to you" from him, when you can CLEARLY see him running about infront of you so close that you can smell his boot polish.
To sum up - Still love the series and the story but the gameplay is getting stale. WIll it stop me buying the next Killzone? (if there is one) Nope, but I will buy a used copy.
