if you wanted an awesome ending to the killzone trilogy this is it!!!!!
the first thing you'll notice about this game is graphics, this is some of the best looking setpieces you'll ever see for quite a while, character models, explosions, weapons, environments all look amazing and there is no argument that this game has some of the best graphics in an FPS alongside "crysis 2" you will be impressed.
gamplay is another important point this game feels like a first person experience killzone makes you feel like a human soldier instead of a camera with a gun on the end of it, killzone 2 was critizised for having clunky controls and here its still pretty clunky (yet it is necessary to make you feel like a soldier carrying armour) the controls are a bit tighter this time around making it more fun to play and that new weapons like triple-barrelled shotgun pistols, being able to carry 3 weapons at once (sidearm, main firearm, heavy weapons), and what seems to be a gun similar to the BFG9000 from DOOM is just plain awesome and how awesome are the new brutal melee moves like cutting throats, snappin necks, gouging eyes out, and eyestabbings, plus lets not forget the jetpacks.
now for the hit and miss stuff for example the story is actuall very good and interesting and is a lot better than "killzone 2"s story and the helghast characters are very well done on the bad side the only interesting ISA character is probably Sev the character you play as, and Rico, the rest of the characters in the ISA are flat and Narville this time around is a complete a**hole other than that the story will keep you engaged till the very very end.
now for multiplayer the multiplayer is very similar to the one in "killzone 2" but now with new areas more ranks and faster levelling up, to the addition of the brutal melee system, mechs and jetpacks from the single player campaign tossed in for good measure overall it is some of the best multiplayer on the PS3.
so the game is so good the only bad things are flat characters, screen fading to black between cutscenes for a couple of seconds and co-op is not online.
so if you can get passed those tiny dissapointments (which ofcourse you can) you will absolutley love this game 9/10
