Killzone 3 kicks CoD in the Balls

User Rating: 10 | Killzone 3 PS3
Killzone 3 picks up directly after the events of Killzone 2 and you are in the middle of a Helghast power grab. Contrary to the Gamespot review the plot is quite good and it definitely left me fiending for more. The weapons all look and sound great.

They are points in the game where the standard shooter formula is joyfully disrupted to get you into vehicle combat (jet packs, tanks, fighters, etc.).
The campaign is about 8-12 hours depending on the difficulty and your play style.

The multiplayer contrary to the Gamespot review is spectacular. The most amazing thing to me is that from the beta few weeks ago to now I have yet to experience lag online. The class systems are great the only thing more you could ask for is being able to make your own. Matches are fun and the different modes add variety but warzone is still where it's at.

One thing I have noticed is the game flows smoothly on PS3 "Fat" it did get choppy on my friends slim. I don't know if this is the case for everyone playing the game and experiencing problems.

Whether you get it for the campaign or the multiplayer Killzone 3 does not disappoint. In all honesty this game is probably as close to perfect as it can get for a shooter. I give it 10 out 10 enjoy.
