Kill.switch is a shooting game for the Xbox. The games starts out with an informative tutorial to teach you the basics of the game. There is not much story but I have made out that you are playing as a soldier who is controlled by someone else (I think). That's not too big of a problem, as to the fact that shooters like these really don't need story lines to be fun. Anybody who enjoyed Gears of War should enjoy this. The same basic concept applies. Slam yourself against a wall, then peek around the corner for a good shot at those damn terrorists. Along the way you will find a variety of weapons. Don't worry about running out of ammo. You have three different assault rifles and ammo for them is scattered everywhere. My favourite gun is the M4. It has solid accuracy and has an M203 grenade launcher attachment. These are useful for taking out those pesky machine gun turrets scattered throughout the game. Kill.switch does have one flaw that is worth mentioning. The game is a short ride, lasting about 7 hours. This isn't a huge problem for me because I don't lose my life to video games, however, hardcore gamers might want to steer clear of Kill.switch. The graphics are solid. Just the kind of graphics you would expect on Xbox. But, despite what some people have said, the soundtrack is not amazing. It makes it sound like the game is a spy game, which it most certainly is not. At least gunshots and grenades sound great. Until I can get an Xbox 360, this will me my Gears of War.
