Good game, great work guys!
All the battles are carefully laid out so you must always be on the lookout for traps or ambushes (they can be laid). Though this game is all about war, you rarely ever charge in all guns (spears!) blazing. You have to think it out e.g. "is he strong enough for him?" or "does she need reinforcements over there?". True, this game is very linked to Dynasty Warriors, but the gameplay is unbelievably different.
One thing that cannot go amiss in this review are the well-sculpted characters. The characters are very imaginitive and have obviously had a lot of thought put into them. Another thing that astounds me are the special abilities. Ranging from climactic duels to earth-shaking fire snakes, they all entertain me to no end.
In conclusion, Kessen II should not be missed out. This game is the best in the series and is well worth its money. But be warned, if you're more of a Call of Duty'er, then you should veer less this way and something more "in your category". An excellent 9 out of 10
