Quirky, fun, Japanese, and highly addictive!

Katamari Damacy is one of those games that when you're playing for the first time and someone is watching you they say "that game looks weird!" This is exactly what my wife said before she got hooked. She usually hates games, but she seems to love this one. The controls are pretty easy for beginners to just pick up and play. There are a few rough spots in the game play like when you get stuck in a corner or when you're underneath something and the camera angle doesn't allow you to see, but these little frustrations don't take away for a very entertaining experience. Graphically it hits it's mark. Very simple blocky graphics, but perfectly suiting for thiss game.
If I have any gripes it's that there isn't a whole lot to do. The VS mode seemed to only allow us to play the same level for the same amount of time and you can finish the story mode pretty quickly. I would've liked a few more options, but overall this is a fun title for hardcore and casual gamers alike.
