Innovative and creative

User Rating: 9 | Katamari Damacy PS2
Way back when this game was first brought into the market, I wasn't lucky enough to have a PS2 to play it on. Now that I have mustered to courage to purchase one, I finally am diving head first into everything that is Karamari!

Graphics ~ 10/10 :;

The graphical interface and graphics throughout the game are absolutely superb. They give you a fictional, but fun fell to the game. It is much better than going with the whole 'realism' look, as this would make the game less fun, and actually believable. Everything is bright and cheery, which also makes you feel good and happy when you go about your business, collecting junk and saving the planets!

Audio ~ 9/10 :;

The songs they play in this song are contagious and annoying at the same time. They are those Japanese, quick play loud enjoying, fun loving, and sometimes just overall weird! They do however give you that fun feel I was talking about in the graphical portion. If they got some bands to sign on, the game would once again be different, not in a good way. By having the audio in it's own unique little way, you can enjoy the game on another level, another fun level!

Gameplay ~ 10/10 :;

The game itself if just so addicting and fun! What is better than wasting your time pushing around a ball to collect little bits of junk you'd find at your house, or at the park, or throughout the city! Nothing is more fun, if you have time to waste! The story-line is good as well, the weird little plot about your father in spandex screwing up the solar system by destroying planets is so strange, you just go along with it. All of that stuff you collect, goes to make planets! Just, woah, what were you guys thinking, whatever it was, it made one unique game!

I found this game at EB for only $9.99, and I have to say, it was totally worth it! If you guys catch this one, it was discontinued, but brought back now. If you can catch it, and you have a PS2, don't forget to pick this one up!
