Karaoke Revolution 3 is a better "upgrade" to the first game than KR2 was.
Once again, the game is terrific for parties, even if you think you don't sing very well. Effort really makes a difference in how much fun you have! Close your eyes, pretend you're alone, and sing your heart out!
Duets debut in KR3, and they are tons of fun! But it's a lot harder than you might think!! You'll realize that you don't know those songs quite as well as you thought, especially if you're doing harmony. And of course, you need 2 microphones if you want to sing duets - you can't share just one.
Medley mode, having been introduced in KR2, lives on in KR3. Because of the addition of duets, I think KR3 was a better sequel than 2. The only other thing I could possibly ask for would be the ability to access the songs of all the games without having to change discs. But I guess that will have to wait for standard console hard drives!
