Not as bad as it was made out to be - but also not the great game it was supposed to be...

After a decent opening level and then a training level, the game really starts to pick up. The graphics are how I like games to look and the character animations look pretty spot on.

It's actually quite a short game and despite a few frustrating sections (which make up the game's hard bits), the game actually flowed pretty smoothly without stopping for breath. It is pretty standard as far as shooters go and a little generic but it was still satisfying. The shooting was satisfying and landing head shots never failed to get boring. The last mission was a great way to finish the game.

Weirdly the game has two endings but not like a usual game. One ending finishes on the mission before last with everything ending smoothly, but you also have the option to play an extra mission where things end badly. It seems strange that there's an ending that doesn't even involve the last level but at least you can easily do both as the mission leading up to it is a short on rails shoot out.

Improvements for the next game? A better cover system wouldn't go amiss, better interaction between the main two characters, and maybe a few more levels. Despite some minor flaws I think this game was a lot better than it was made out to be in Jeff's Gamespot review.
