GTA style gone wrong. A great idea, some neat things that have never been done before, but bugs RUIN the game.

Just Cause is innovative at the surface. It was the first sandbox game on the Xbox 360. You play a secret agent attempting to overthrow a regime in a Latin American country, which is quite compelling, until you start playing the game. The story has potential, but pitiful voice acting and character models make this feel like a horrible Saturday morning cartoon gone wrong. In the 4 hours that it took me to complete the main storyline I heard Rico say, "I can't believe I get paid for this," 40 to 50 times.

Did I mention it had a short story line? Oh yes! There is a TON and I do mean a ton of side quests and liberation missions to complete, but for what? You don't need to do any side missions to get you through the main story line. It helps you so little you won't even notice. That's because the game is a cakewalk. Rico, the main character, is almost bulletproof. There is a catch, however. I screamed at my television several times while playing this game, not because the game was had, but because the bugs in the game killed me every time.

Speaking of bugs, the gunplay is absolutely horrible. It is difficult to lock on to anything, and impossible to use the "special weapons," such as the sniper rifle.

I got this game for $10 at Gamestop, and I got around 250 gamerpoints out of it in my 5 hours of game play. Honestly, it wasn't worth it.
