Gorgeous world, fun gameplay but over the top story prevents this from being a 10
You've read it all: HUGE, beautiful world, lot's to do, fun doing it, and looking great while doing it. I've already spent a 100 hours playing, and it just doesn't get dull.
This game focuses on the content and not story. Writing about other critic scores should be posted in your personal blog. Remain on topic about the piece of content.
BUT
This game , Just Cause 2, focuses on the gameplay and not on the story.
The over the top story and voiceacting is so rediculous, it's not even funny. I have no idea why this design decision was made. Honestly, i never thought i would be writing the following sentence, but for this game i will make an exception: WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?
Why not give it a believable, thrilling, immersing back story, instead of this weird, cartoonish rubbish? Just 'cause the game is great, we like tales to be told.
A well, so much for going for GOLD.
