I have not finished this game yet, it's extremely challenging. However, this game is fantastic and incredibly unique. This is my favorite side-scrolling flying (Gradius clone) ever created. It has a plethora of weapons that are upgradable to ridiculous levels and the weapon count is crazy (70 weapons that are have multiple levels of upgrading is insane!). Also, you have a whole bunch of ships to upgrade to and the level design is brilliant. One of the levels immerses you in an area that is basically like entering a microscopic biology slide. You have to kill enemies that are essentially bacteria but on a much more massive scale. Also, the killing in this game is always satisfying. Watching little soldiers flying off of the screen from dropping 20 bombs on the ground simultaneously never gets old. While some levels are basically going through a war zone, others are going through weird media-based arenas or utopias... which is kind of creepy but fascinating, none-the-less. Buy this game, play it, get it for your friends... I cannot praise it enough. I love this game and I think I'm only at level 15 out of 43. It's too damn good.
There were nice games on the PC, some conversions from the good old days of yore, but many just hadn't the same feeling that soaked you in, that made the game feel greater then it looked. Tiger Mission was one these... Read Full Review
