The true ending to a truly wonderful video game series.

User Rating: 9.5 | Jak 3 PS2
Many have been waiting for the third game in the series to appear after the first two successful games, "Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy", and "Jak II", only to finally stop waiting and play the finale in the series (in terms of story chronology, anyway), "Jak 3."

Story: 9.5 (The ending is both surprising, at one point hilarious, dramatic, and climatic, which provides a terrific ending to this amazing series)
Graphics: 9 (The graphics haven't really improved from it's predecessor, but still one of the best looking games on the PlayStation 2)
Music: 9 (The music varies on area, mission, and overall experience and how the experience should be felt, which is always a plus for the players)
Controls: 9.5 (The controls haven't changed, but only adding more tweaks to include more game-play elements, which is above all a good thing, but it isn't the most perfect array of controls in a video game, but still not a bad thing)
Sound: 10 (The jokes and antics are even better this time around, and most to all characters have their voice actors/actresses reprise their roles, and it is always a good performance)

The story starts shortly after the events of Jak II, but with the majority of what happened prior to Jak 3 is explained at the start of the game. As metal heads still survived even after the defeat of "Metal Kor", and the remnants of "Baron Praxis'" machines, the "KG Deathbots" are attacking "Haven City" at all fronts, which is causing both loss of the city's control, destruction, and the lives of many. Despite Jak and Daxter (and a willing "Pecker") saving the city in the previous game, they are exiled because of "Count Veger" (a politician who, via bribes and threats, takes over much of Haven's City's political control, along with it's "dos and don'ts"), and his hatred/fear of Jak's "Dark Eco" powers. Eventually Jak and company are found by King Damos and his warriors of "Spargus City", a city outside of Haven City's walls that live with the "law of the land" (those that serve no purpose are banished while those that do live within Spargus). Eventually Jak and company want discover several things and plans (to avoid spoiling I'll stop here), that embark them on ANOTHER adventure.

The game-play is again improved and remade to further apple elements and actions in this game. Jak can still do all of what he did before in the first games, along with new weapons (within weapons), both Light and Dark abilities, and so on. This is very familiar, and it should confuse anyone, especially those who have played the original games. Overall, the game-play is better, and it works as it should.

The game is a fantastic ending to a great video game series that something I'll always have in my video game collection, along with my highest recommendation, but for those who haven't played the previous titles in the series, I strongly recommend starting and finishing those first.
