Injustice: Gods Among Us is an absolute embarrassment to the console version.

Injustice: Gods Among Us on the iOS device is an absolute disaster.

First of all, the game isn't even a full fighting game. It's half card-game, half-fighter; that's not the worst part, though, the fighting aspect is incredibly poor and forces the game to crash almost 90% of the time. I had a horrendous experience with this abomination, it doesn't play very well. Plus, the iOS screen doesn't make it any easier to press any of the buttons.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is a poor cash-grab attempt at making a few extra dollars after the retail release: and it shows. You can make your three-man team, which isn't even in the console version, even more powerful by spending your hard-earned money on a bunch of inferior cards. That's right I said inferior, the card balance is awful. After completing the console game, you unlock Prison Superman on the iOS version. Needless to say, you don't need anyone else on your team but him - he takes out health bars left, right, and center. It's ridiculous, unfair, and uneven. Also, to point out, I think the only reason this game was released was due to the ridiculously hard-to-get console costume unlockables in the iOS version. In order to unlock the Batman Beyond outfit, for Batman, you need to purchase one Batman card. One Batman card costs around 170,000 in-game points. Yeah, and the game takes pride in basically saying:
"Well, you can make it easier on yourself and spend $25.00 on this card - instead of working your ass off in getting it"

Where is the self-accomplishment in this process? There isn't, plain and simple. The marketing team has done an abysmal job in positively attracting their, potential, audience.

Another negative support for this poor title, is the fact that it can't run well on any iOS devices. My device is up-to-date with the newest version, it plays...but barely. The game still crashes regularly, there is significant slowdown, and just doesn't look as polished as the retail title.

Any positive reinforcement in this game, ultimately, comes from the main menu. It's neat to see the exact menu almost look identical from console to the iOS: no sarcasm intended.

I didn't bother in spending a lot of time in this game, after trying to get this game to run a thousand times. It's, quite frankly, not worth the time nor the effort.

Bottom line: Avoid this garbage. It's only sucking you in for alternative outfits that are almost impossible to obtain without spending more money. I'd recommend buying the season pass for the retail game instead.
