A great game that could a have been so much more.

Where to start?

Infinite Undiscovery follows the tale of Capel, a talented flute player who gets in way over his head. He is, without a doubt, the pansiest main character I've ever seen (at least in the beginning, he gets better later on). At first, I was incredibly annoyed with him and dearly hoped I could change the main character somehow. However, after a while I grew to tolerate and eventually like him.

Infinite Undiscovery has very well made and likable characters, with the occasional exception of a character that's hideously irritating. But such a thing is inevitable in a game that has well made, deep characters. Just like real people, there are those you like, and those you... don't like quite as much.

Another thing I liked was the combat system. As opposed to the traditional JRPG turn-based approach, Infinite Undiscovery plays in real-time. I was very happy when I entered battle for the first time. Very well made combat with fantastic visual effects.

The story was interesting and original with plenty of twists to keep it entertaining.

Just about the only low point I can think of is the lip-syncing of the voices to the characters in movie sequences.

So, let's recap.

The Good
*Well made characters
*Fun and fast-paced combat
*Something I forgot to mention earlier, a fantastic, original soundtrack.
*Brilliant graphics and animations
*Interesting, original story.

The Bad
*Lip-syncing in movie sequences was horribly done

Now, on to actual scores.
