League of Legends and Dota 2 have been around for a while. They're the standard for the massively online battle arena genre and nobody's going to dethrone them any time soon. Infinite Crisis, with time, will be worthy to stand by these two great games. The gameplay is standard MOBA with traditional Domination and Classic modes and maps with plenty of hiding places, health pick ups an side quests. You gain experience and a special type of points for each battle, allowing you to unlock upgrade options that can be tweaked to fit your play style and attached to your chosen champion. There are unlockable skins for the champions and all sorts of other things. All this standard MOBA content is made fresh thanks to the DC comics license. Traditional characters like Superman, Batman, the Joker and others are playable, but you also get a huge selection of alternate versions with completely different backstories, appearances and play styles. The beautiful, comic book-like visuals and wonderfully detailed map versions of iconic DC locations really round this game out. For veteran MOBA fans, this is a great way to take a break from LoL or Dota and for players new to the genre it's a great way to jump on. The game is still find its footing a bit in regards to champion balance but the sheer volume and variety of DC characters and references makes this game very much worthwhile.
