Awesome game, yet can't be a 10 without multiplayer

User Rating: 9 | inFamous: Second Son PS4

This is basically a great, solid game. To best describe it, think of an X-Men / Assassin Creed mix: a guy with super powers with a main mission and a lot of secondary objectives of all sort. The graphics are great and the interaction the character has with the playground is awesome. Being an exclusive launch for PS4, it makes use of all the features available in the console, which improves the experience.

Another cool thing is that the character's personality is influenced with every action, like rescuing/saving/killing citizens, so you have 2 paths, being a good or bad guy. At the moment I'm playing the good guy, and I don't know how much the story changes when choosing the other path.

The major let down for me is that it has no multiplayer. It would have been great to be able to choose between all different types of powers and join in a good/evil conduits battle across the playground. There are also some small things that could have been better:

  • The music.
  • Citizens seems to weigh a pound. Accidentally running into a person makes it fly 15 feet.
  • Sometimes you have to go to places not marked in the map, so if you don't remember where it was, you just have to roam around the map.

Though I haven't finished the game, I'm already looking forward to get my hands in Second Son: First Light.

NOTE: This review will be updated once I completed the game with both sides.
