Illusion of Gaia is an extremely under appreciated game that accomplishes much more than having an awesome name.

This is a true classic action RPG with a great story, beautiful environments, and great gameplay! Illusion of Gaia's graphics are so great, I'd go so far as to say that these may be on par with some of the best graphics on the snes. One of the games great features is how it incorperates switching between 3 different characters, each with their own attacks and ways of solving the games many puzzles. Illusion of Gaia's real time battle system does an amazing job of not being overly simplistic, but provides just enough challenge to make it worthwhile. By the end of the game, you'll encounter many memorable bosses, all of whom require plenty of strategy to defeat.
Throughout the game, you visit various landscapes such as dungeons, undersea palaces, and even the Great Wall of China! While you can't backtrack very much through the world map, there are plenty of new places you visit as the story progresses. Games such as this are prime examples of the word "classic" and should not be passed up by any means. If you're even remotely into action RPGs, Illusion of Gaia should be just what you're looking for.
