Not since Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has a game been this good. Actually, now that I think of it, this game is very similar to Xenoblade Chronicles in story and atmosphere. Some people think it's good to put a lot of features in a game and let you have fun with it, such as Fallout and Elder Scrolls, however this game takes the Portal and Super Mario Galaxy approach of taking a simple concept and exploring it to its full potential. Having played Super Mario Odyssey recently and being disappointed at how it was aimed at first time gamers (a reasonable choice for Nintendo, so I don't blame them, since they were banking on the switch to save them from the company's ruin), this game was just what I needed: a game of reasonable enough difficulty with puzzles that had multiple solutions.
