I wanted to play this title before I moved on to Shadow of the Colossus and now I'm not sure I will enjoy it (Shadow) as much. It's amazing to know that Ico was released during the first year of the PlayStation 2's existence and yet it is unknown by most PS2 owners. This is the kind of game that you must play to understand it's beauty. Have the patience and don't overthink the solutions to the puzzles. It's very linear but in a good way. You really can't reach the next area without solving the puzzle of your current location. It's also fairly short depending on how fast you can solve the puzzles (10 hours at most). I don't want to ruin any of the minimalist plot but I recommend it highly to anyone willing to be patient and give the brain a puzzle workout.
