Excellent fun playing this with the young ones ... a nice family game & "peaceful" change from those FPS games.
Graphics are better in I Spy Spooky Mansion as it allows for better than the 800 x 600 pixel limit in the earlier games. Clues are provided in simple ryhmes and clues/words can be highlighted and these will be read to the player even allowing kids with developing reading to play.
The hidden object puzzles unlock items that are used to build fun machines that will entertain children and adults alike. There are also codes to be broken, torn pieces of map to be found and assembled, and secret rooms to be unlocked.
The aim is to escape the Spooky Mansion and unlike the earlier titles in the series this has enhanced replayability as there are really three games to play, each with a different puzzles and unique escape point. So escape once ... be brave and re-enter the Spooky Mansion. Fun game.
OVERALL: The best game of a great series ... recommended for those with younger children ... or those who enjoy a "puzzle" challenge ... it also gives the graphics driver a rest after all those FPS and RTS games.
