You're character doesn't get stronger, or get any new weapons, or any new abilities. Nothing changes= Fail.

I think I pretty much summed it up. It isn't worth playing, because everything you experience in the first level, you won't experience anything new on your end for the rest of the game. New monsters, new objectives, but the same moves, the same weapons, the same abilities. You can already do as much when you start playing it as you will be able to do in the end. In every way this is a failure of a game. The creators should be disappointed in themselves for making what would otherwise be a very fun game pointless by making no advancement system. I don't understand why they just left it out, what's more, I don't understand why gamespot gave it such a solid rating, this is as disappointing and underwhelming as any game I've ever played. I'ts easy to see why this is a game that should never have been made, and stands as a shining example of what not to do when you have resources to make one. Even Gauntlet Legends had some system for character progression, which might be the clear difference between the two.
