Hot Shots Golf FORE! is easily the best in the series. After playing Tiger Woods 04 for so long, it was refreshing to get back to the ol' 3 point swing, which may not simulate a golf swing quite like the analog swing, but it does something better, it makes consistancy a difficult thing to accomplish sometimes. Golf is all about consistancy, and I have never seen any real golfer win tourney after tourney after tourney like in Tiger Woods games. In HSGF! I have my good days and my bad days, days when I can judge wind perfectly and be consistant with impact and days where I can barely keep a 25% GIR. Online play is the best I've seen for any golf game, not only because you don't have to play one on one, but perfect scores or scores over under -18 are rare, even on the easiest courses, so it never feels like you are out of the running for at least a top 5 finish. I only wish the chat box at the between hole interrmissions were bigger. I also wish there was some way to deal with the little poor sport quitters that plauge the tourneys. You can start a tourney with 30 people, and only end with 10 most of the time. it gets really irritating. LETS PLAY FOR FUN PEOPLE! you can't win em all. great game! I'd love to see a Hot Shots Golf Anniversary Edition with all of the old courses with the new graphics and characters. that would be cream cheese! I'm out.
