The good: Ditching the petrol pick up is welcoming, the graphics and sound has improved, the music is more varied and musical than the last game, fun for multiplayer yet again.
The bad: Requirements to unlocking new tracks remains unchanged, the AI still needs to be properly balanced.
This game requires no introduction. Compared to the last game, this game has improved a lot. Cruisn' and Top Racing fans will enjoy this arcade fast paced racing game without destroying its structure. Here's why.
First off, the petrol pick up is gone, meaning you don't have to worry about losing the race. The graphics made the tracks feel slightly more realistic though it loses a bit of sharpness. The sound effects feel much comfortable, and the music is more fun to listen to. And it's great for multiplayer yet again.
Though this superb game has a few issues. Unlocking track requirements is still challenging to deal with and the AI could keep you on your toes. Be thankful it's not enough to make you rage quit this game since it's aimed at kids and adults alike.
Still, it would be good if there's going to be a series that honours the Cruisn' and Top Racer series. That arcade racing is still on par with realistic racing of today. So enjoy this game as it challenges your flexibility to the max while having fun at the same time. Don't be afraid to try it so go for it!
