Buggy, full of restraitns with the multiplayer being the only good thing...

User Rating: 5 | Homefront PS3

Homefront starts as a pretty solid game. Graphics are nice and the storyline looks like it will be good at first but the purple clouds soon disperse when you start the game. Physics are nicely done - that is the first thing that comes in mind when you get your first weapon but later on you start to notice weird things. Game starts to block you out of exploration and deviation from the story. Things you might think you can do - you can not. Places you though you would be able to go to - you can not. Not to mention your AI partners constantly blocking your way when you try to do something "out of script". This game is constantly keeping you on a leash, preventing you from ever deviating from the story and constantly telling you - YOU WILL PLAY AS I WANT YOU TO, NOT LIKE YOU WANT ME TO BE. That is the most dissapointing side of this game. Storyline is pretty solid and characters develop nicely with great plot twists, which is rarely seen in modern FPS games. However single player got nothing to show to the players anymore.

If you are a person who only likes play singleplayer games - skip on this one unless you want another game with a lot of ragequits and holding your hand through the entire game.

Multiplayer is where this game truly shines however with good physics and lots of opportunities while being simple to learn, hard to master type. Shame however that you cannot play online anymore due to server shutdown but it was fun while it lasted.

So basically in conclusion it is worthless now, but was fun when the servers were still around so if I could divide singleplayer and multiplayer - multiplayer gets the full half of 10, while singleplayer gets 0 so my verdict is 5 out of 10.
