Highly underrated, absolution is engaging, stealthy and addictive. Agent 47 has never been more badass.

User Rating: 8.5 | Hitman: Absolution PC
Yes, Hitman Absolution does come with many drastic changes compared to its predecessors. Some of these changes as many fans have pointed out already, ruin the whole stealth element that the series had to a certain extent. But in my opinion the pros outweigh the cons. Absolution has the best graphics of the series, the new instinct option adds a layer of fun and realism to the character, level designs are astounding as each mission feels unique. All of the characters are well portrayed by voice actors and the story line is interesting(although at some points, a bit cheesy). 5 different difficulty settings allow enough space for rookies and experienced stealth lovers who're looking for a challenge.

Moving on to the cons, at some point it feels as though in an attempt to extend their reach to more fans the developers compromised some of the inherent qualities of the series for other features which make it comparable to games like Assassin's Creed and Max Payne. The "Contracts" mode seems unnecessary and boring. The game is also not devoid of a few glitches here and there.

Aside from these, there really isn't much more to criticize about the game. Absolution is definitely an improvement over the others in the series (at least for the most part) and a must play for any fan of the Silent Assassin.
