A whole lot of fun. A true, worthy successor to Blood Money.

Ever since Absolution was announced, I have been eagerly awaiting this game. I'm a huge fan of the whole Hitman series. Looking over the reviews before the game was released, I was disappointed. I wondered whether I should ignore some reviews and buy it, or stick with the reviews and rent it at a later date. I'm glad to say I ignored the stupid reviews that have been posted and bought it.

I cannot see how some reviewers can really slate this game. It is a great deal of fun. The amount of weapons, (improvised or not) costumes, ways to complete the level and ways to dispatch your victim had me hooked straight away.

The instinct mode is a good addition to the game and it's nice to be able to blend into a sea of policeman without any of them cottoning on to you.

I like lurking nearby targets and gleaming information from them as to target others.

One thing I will concede; The AI could be a little bit better. It is still on a par with the poor AI in Blood Money.

All in all, I think this game is a worthy addition to the Hitman series and I'll continue playing this over and over for a long time yet. There are many ways to complete the same level.
