The return of the Muffinman.

You'll have to suspend belief on the terms that this game is not consistent with itself. What I mean by that is, sometimes you'll run by a guard with a gun and they don't do anything, but if you do the same under disguise they will shoot. You never know when the AI will turn on you. The ability for you to assume the identity of the person you just killed, same height, weight, but without hair? What about not recognizing this new "guard"? My point is, sometimes you can get away with things you though impossible, and at other times when you expect to be undetected you will be discovered.

This game is mostly about stealth. There are bonuses if you carry out each mission as discreetly as possible. That's not to say that you can't go in Rambo style, but certain missions forbids such tactics. If you wanted a hitman game where you can just gut everybody, this game does allow that on a certain level. The rest is mixed with tactics and stealth. There are several different methods to complete each mission; this adds to the replay value.

You can save during missions, but saves are limited. I found the save option to be a welcome relief, there are games similar to this that have NO saves whatsoever, forcing you to replay the entire mission. Be that as it may, you still want to be careful with when and where you save during missions, especially for the harder levels. Don't be surprised if you have to keep replaying missions to find the method that suits you to finish the job.

I didn't like how you had to cycle through all your inventory to get a weapon. Sometimes when your cover is blown you need to access your weapons fast. If, for example, you had to take someone down quietly, you can't just whip out your 9mm SD, but you will have to go through the menu of items to reach that pistol. While you're doing this, the guard is shooting at you and by that point everyone will know you. I wish there was a better way of equiping yourself with the right tool at the right time.

In review, this game is better than the original and is worth your time. Good, not great. What's with the reference to Tony Soprano on the disc box?
