this is very good game weather or not you've seen the show before or not. the game mechanics are very sound, Ami & Yumi are very easy to control and each have very Unique styles, Each suited for different things, Ami is the more mobile of the two, she is able to reach higher places Via a triple jump ability,and swing from Hooks and float due to her microphone "whip". Yumi is the fighter of the two and has the ability to move heavy blocks around she also has a wicked "Guitar Slide" move. One particularly sweet feature in this game is the option called "Jam Session" where the girls play together. This is useful to get rid of a big group of enemies or overcome alot of fans .The levels are short but very detailed and expansive. they make you feel like your in the show. The thing I liked most about this game other than the fact that it's Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi is that there is an emphasis on Teamwork & Problem solving/Quick thinking. Not enough games put a good emphasis on these asspects of gaming. all in all this game rates a perfect 10 out of 10 a great game for beginners and experts alike
