This Game is totally Worth it! Best Puzzle game around by far.
Cons: The Music sucks (what little music there is), May induce dizziness after an hour or so, Survival mode is extremely frustrating, Few game modes to pick from (3) and Very few levels in Time Attack mode and Marathon mode (lvl7 max)
Like I said before, This game is Highly addicting, if you don't want to spend a lot of time on an addicting game, delete it off your 360 because it'd just be taking up useless space. Unlike a lot of other games, Hexic HD has a lot of variety to it, your never going to get the same game twice, its impossible, there for repetition isn't an issue. Since there's variety, there's no one strategy to the game, you have to base your strategy on randomness and principles of uncertainty, which adds to the gameplay making it that much more fun. With the Xbox 360, there's always achievements, and you can never have too many, with that, Hexic not only has a decent amount of achievements, but most of them are pretty easy to get, within the first 2min that I played the game I got 2 achievements, and I didn't even know what I was doing. Now, most people wouldn't think of this as a competitive game, well that's where you'd be wrong, sure, two people cant play in real time against each other, but, you and a few friends can battle for high scores and see who's the best. Not only does doing that give you bragging rights until your beaten again, but it also drives you to get more achievements faster because you'll be playing more, my cousin and I are currently in a Hexic war and both of us have gotten many achievements because of it. If for no other reason to play this game, ITS FREE FOR GODS SAKE!!
If you're a person that gets totally turned off from games because of a bad sound track Hexic is definitely not for you unless you have a lot of your own music stored on your Xbox, because the sad excuse for music in this game really sucks. Another thing to watch out for, is playing this game for long periods of time with no breaks, could get you a little dizzy either wen your playing the game, or when you finally get off the couch. Most of the modes (ok fine, 2 modes) are really fun, but Survival mode is a major letdown, sure you can get an achievement for beating it, but that's really all its good for, because its frustrating and not that fun.
All in all, Hexic HD is a really fun game. If you have it on your Xbox 360 you should definitely play it, if you don't, you should get it because you'd be missing out on a really fun game.
