Probably the best WWII flying game on the xbox or any other platform!

This game really is one of the best flying games of all time. It follows an airman seeking revenge on the Japanese involved in the attack on Pearl Harbor because they killed his brother in the attack. Thaat is about it as far as the story is conserned but it still has its heroes and villians which shape this game's story into a winner. The flying its self is arcade style, you can make it proffessional style but that isn't as fun. The arcade style flying definitly makes dogfighting less interesting because you are just moving the stick to the edge. Despite its simplicity this game takes a lot of skill to play. It is one of the harder games out there if you have it on the right difficulty. The missions are fun for the most part, the only exception is on missions where you can't use your guns. They are pretty simple, protect sombody, take something out, defeat the ace...ect. They are still really fun however and the game gets a little addicting after a while. The boss battle, where you fight the memebers of your rival squadron are extremely difficult and really frusterating, but o-so satisfying once you finally beat a mission and get teh upgrade points you worked so hard for. On the last few missions you go in alone and you will be amazed at how much destruction you cause and how powerful you feel. After each mission you will be rewarded with upgrade points and sometimes new planes! You will eagerly use these points and try out your new planes in the equally fun mode instant action. Unfortunatlly for the instant action the spawn points of the enemies are pretty easy to memorize and the Americans always win because there planes have better armor.The multyplayer mode is also fun and has a lot of interesting options that add to the gameplay. There are pretty much no problems with this game besides a few glitches (warhawk bounces off of surfaces, ME-262 with super war speed goes 3000 mph). Even after you finish it you will go back to try and complete every aspect of the game because it is so fun. Overall this game is an excellent game for anyone into WWII or flying games.
