if there's one thing natsume taught us, it's that if your game has a great foundation, you can do anything with it.

my review of harvest moon games continues. this time, it's with my first, and probably 2nd most liked portable HM game. to be honest, if you're new to the game there's a lot to learn. mainly building location. don't feel bad if it takes you a few hours to figure out where the library, the church, and the grocery store are.
also, i find it somewhat difficult to earn happiness levels with bachelorettes. the heart events are also placed on days, hours, and even to the weather. don't really get that.
that's my cons on the game. my favorite thing about this game is it's characters. the main character and the other characters in this game have really become the staple of "the harvest moon character." natsume approves of it, because they bring those characters back game by game. in fact, they may have even shown up on a console or 2. this is also one of those "just live your life" kinda harvest moon games, no doubtedly my favorite. i don't know why, but i like it when the harvest moon game really doesn't show an end to it, or even gives you a reason to end. it just makes the experience much more worthwhile.

this one was kinda short, but i'd give you a thumbs up if you were to buy it. good luck though, they're pretty old xD
