The GameCube version was was better because it looked better and went faster. What is more upsetting is that the GamCube version came out before this version. The only new thing I noticed was that you could marry Lumina now and choose to have a daughter for a child instead of a son. Other than that, this game is basically the same as the GameCube version only much slower. If you have a GameCube and a PS2, and you already have the GameCube version, don't bother getting this version. If you want to get into Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, choose the GameCube version over ther PS2 version. Well, you get the idea. This game disappointed me and I'm a Harvest Moon fanatic too.
